Portable phones, disposable cameras, handheld video game devices: all of these were once among the 1990’s most cutting edge tech. Though much of it now seems quaint, maybe even primitive, the era of the "Information Superhighway" laid the foundation for much of the technology we interact with today. From smart phones to laptops, most of today’s tech would not have been possible had it not been for the ‘90s. For this reflection, examine the ways in which that decade’s technology helped usher the technological advancements of this century. What do we owe to the gadgets of that era?
